Program Overview

Two $2,000 annual scholarships will be awarded to two eligible Arizona Central Credit Union members.
The scholarship is renewable annually for a maximum term of four consecutive years.
To remain eligible, scholarship recipients must attend consecutive fall and spring semesters as a full-time student (12 credit hours minimum for both semesters) and maintain a minimum GPA of at least 2.5 each semester and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
The first $1,000 installment will be paid upon proof of registration for the fall semester following high school graduation. The second $1,000 installment will be paid upon proof of registration for the spring semester, provided the student successfully completes the fall semester upon proof of minimum GPA standards.
In the second, third, and fourth years, $1,000 will be paid at the start of each semester (fall and spring) upon proof of minimum GPA standards and registration as a full-time student (12 credit hours minimum for both semesters).

Who is Eligible

2025 graduating high school seniors currently maintaining a high school scholastic GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Members of Arizona Central Credit Union in good standing; scholarship recipients must maintain their credit union membership in good standing to remain eligible for scholarship funds. Scholarship applicants must have a primary membership with Arizona Central Credit Union.
Must be accepted to, and plan on attending full-time (12 credit hours minimum for both semesters), an accredited college, university, community college, or technical/trade school located in Arizona.
Arizona Central Credit Union directors, officers, employees, their relatives, or people living in their household are not eligible.

Required Documentation

Fully completed scholarship application.
Two letters of recommendation, on letterhead, from instructors or employers.
Official high school transcript showing a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher dated within 30 days of submission of your application.
Typed essay of 1,000 words or less on how this scholarship will help you achieve your educational goals and how you plan to positively impact your community once your education is completed.

All required documentation must be submitted digitally (below) or mailed at the time of application.

Only those applications submitted through this form or mailed through the U.S. Postal Service and postmarked no later than May 9, 2025 will be accepted.
